Building on the values of our founders and our namesake, I K Brunel, Brunel University believes that education, research and the world of work are all inter-related. Our students gain practical knowledge and experience which prepares them for work in the UK and around the world. We are leading research that is advancing the search for cures for cancer, that is identifying and helping gifted children, that will help protect the environment, that is developing technologies to improve health, welfare and quality of life. This research informs and enriches the courses of all our students who, as graduates, make an enormous contribution to the wealth and well-being of the nation.
